As Berrios was riding northbound on his Suzuki motorcycle, southbound driver in Ford Taurus initiated left turn to enter car wash station. Subsequently, Berrios slammed into the passenger side of the Ford, ejecting him onto the road. Following the impact, the Ford driver immediately stopped and waited for authorities, who later claimed that impairment did not play factor. Meanwhile, paramedics took 33-year-old Berrios to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley where, despite lifesaving efforts, he passed away.
